Looking to make a career in Yachting
Submitted by charliewaterhouse on 29 May 2007 - 8:17amAn enthusiastic graduate and experienced sailor with an RYA Day Skipper qualification and 6 years sail training experience as a watch leader and junior mate on vessels ranging from a 26' Westerly to an Ocean 75'. I have enjoyed most of my sail training in British waters, with the majority of my experience being in the Solent and on Cross Channel voyages. I have also experienced sailing in the North Sea from Antwerp to Aalborg as a Watch leader of an all girls crew in the Tall Ships Race 2004. I also have experience of yacht racing predominantly on a Sigma 38'.

Looking for a Deckhand in the Med

I have got previous experience as a River Guide, Bartender and Waiter, which have given me the necessary people skills as well as the ability to work under pressure. I've got the following Certificates for sailing: SWTC 95 and a Competent Crew. I’m delivering a yacht to Croatia arriving in June/July and will be available for deckhand work thereafter.
