Where?
White Lightning Jet Boat Adventures will be operating a new jet boat thrill ride location in the Tampa area. The purpose of the ride is to take touring the Bay to the next level. It combines high speeds, quick turns and 360 degree spins with a tour of the highlights of the Bay area. This is not your average tour…..you, probably, and the passengers, definitely, will get wet. Trips will run approximately 4-7 times a day on set routes.

What do I need to have?
• US Citizen
• Master Captain license 25 tons
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Coast Guard Drug Testing Program
• A smiling happy face

What will I be doing?
• Drive the boat.
• Implement your knowledge of US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations to maintain the vessel(s) operations, provide advice to management and provide emergency response if necessary.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on vessel(s)
• Perform daily check out and check-in of vessel(s).
• Assist with licensing and regulatory issues as needed.
• Assist with route planning as needed.
• Advise management as to the weather and sea conditions in order to ensure that it is appropriate to send out the vessel(s)
• Maintain accurate records and/or logs on arrival and departure times, and boat performance.
• Assist with collecting of tickets/receipts and in providing information to passengers.
• Interact professionally, yet cordially with fellow staff and passengers.
• Provide a safe and fun ride for all involved.
• Assist in office or store as needed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by White Lightning Jet Boat Adventures management.

Salary: Pay is per hour plus tips. The Captains will be able to request between 20 and 50 hours a week, or work depending on their needs and company requirements.
