This seems like a good forum to try and find help on. We are trying to travel the world without flying, doing lots of community work along the way, and to do so, we thought that we'd cross by boat and if we can find work, even better!

We just seeking any advice really, we are booked in to do a STCW 95 course to increase our chances. We have experience in cooking, cleaning, and service basically.

Our route goes across Russia from Europe, and South to Australia. We can definitely get as far as Singapore by land - does anyone know a way of getting boats from this area to Australia?

Then the biggest challenge is trying to get to North or South America from Australia/New Zealand. Does anyone know how to achieve this?

And then there's getting back to Europe again from North/South America...

If anyone has any ideas we'd love to hear them.
