my name is paul burwood, from perth, Western Australia,
Im headed to Antibes, France on 8th october,in search for either deckhand or chef work on a boat, I am really interested in trying this new type of work, can anyone suggest a good crew hous or any type of cheap accomodation?

I don't know if there is much work in the Med during the Winter, but we have a page about Antibes crew houses.
Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a good place to be at this time of year. The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is coming up soon. There is often so much day work in Fort Lauderdale at this time of year that the crew house staff will wake guests up asking them if they need some daywork.
Contact the crew houses and ask them about the work situation there. They could give you up-to-date information about job availability.
